Debra Boyd

Debra Boyd is primarily a conceptual artist working in a variety of media, from found objects, fabric, photography, to acrylic painting. She was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and is currently living in Minneapolis. She is following in her father's footsteps who is an accomplished artist. She knew from a young age that she would inevitably pursue art in her career. She participated in several art shows throughout highschool and won awards as well as a scholarship to the Academy of Art College in San Francisco. She attended there for a short time, and went on to achieve an A.A. degree in Fine Art at Ohlone College in Fremont, CA. She then received a B.F.A. degree in Spatial Art from San Jose State University. Debra has worked full-time in the picture framing industry, another area she's passionate about, since graduating in 1998. In 2000, she achieved Certified Picture Framer status. Meanwhile, she has continued to show and sell her work, including commissioned pieces.	Photography
